College of Nanotechnology, Science and Engineering
University at Albany SUNY
Currently, an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, which I have diligently built from ground-up, along with my colleagues since its inception in 2016. My research investigates Generalizations of Deep Learning in Wireless Communications, Blockchain for Distributed Sensing, Interference Cancellation for Passive Spectrum Users and Architectures for Software Defined Radios. My work is primarily funded by awards from the National Science Foundation, including the NSF CAREER and multiple awards under the NSF-SWIFT program, AFRL Visting Faculty Research Program and NorthEast Microelectronics Commons Hub.
My academic journey humbly began in Kolkata, India, which has taken me across many insitutions and beautiful campuses, from doctoral studies at Boulder, CO, to postdoctoral experience at Princeton, NJ and faculty postion at Lawrence, KS, to finally anchor at The University at Albany SUNY. Along the way, I have been fortunate to be mentored by great minds and thought leaders who taught me the value of hard work, discipline and to aim higher.
