I am always looking for enthusiastic, self-driven independent students who can have a variety of background (EE/CE/CS) with focus on wireless communication, signal processing, reconfigurable computing and embeded systems. My research is highly inter-discplinary and employ concepts taught in various courses in the CS and ECE curricula. Some of the topics that are particularly relevant are given below.
Wireless Communications and Networking, Signal Processing
FPGA, Software Defined Radio and Embedded Systems
Theory and practical aspects of Blockchain and Distributed Ledgers
Mathematical foundations in Optimization, Random Processes and Machine Learning
Graduate and Undergraduate Students @ UAlbany: To get started, visit my research and publications page and browse the project descriptions to gauge the flavor of my research. I strongly encourage that you read at least one of my publications and create some understanding of the subject matter. Enrolling in my classes will provide another opportunity to engage in such conversations.
Non-UAlbany and International Students: In order to work with me, the first step is to apply to SUNY Albany and get admitted. Please visit the ECE department website to learn more about the department and apply for the appropriate degree program. You may also contact the Graduate admissions with any general admissions related questions. Before writing to me, please take time to browse my research and publications pages for some basic understanding of my work. Please note that I receive many emails from prospective students like yourself and while I do my best to respond, make sure you give me good reasons to respond as well.
